BR 1-13 : The story of The Fox and the crow

“Fox is always hungry. One day he sees Crow, with some tasty cheese in her beak. Can fox persuade her to let go? This lively retelling of the classic Aesop’s fable has easy-to –read text and fun puzzles to try after the story.”

One fox lived in the forest, and the fox was always hungry. One day, he saw crow that have some cheese. Fox thought “I want that cheese!” When he thought that, he just hit upon a good idea. However, the idea that he hit upon was cunning. First, he grinned at crow “You’re pretty” Crow thought “ I am!” Next, he said “What beautiful feathers!” He praised crow one after another. Finally, he asked “Can you sing too?” Of course, crow nodded and she opened her beak… At that moment, down fell the cheese! The fox succeeded in the attempt. Fox snapped the cheese up. Crow said “That cheese was mine!” and she cried. However, fox laughed and fox ate the cheese. Fox told crow “Don’t always believe people who say nice things.” Also, he said “Sometimes they just want something from you”

I think the story of this book tells us both what you must answer without much thought and what you must take things more seriously. By the way, I readily take people at their word, so I think I must take no heed of what other say.
