BR 1-14: The story of How Elephants lost their Wings

“Believe it or not, elephants used to be able to fly. But flying elephants were big trouble… This lively retelling of on Indian folktale has easy-to-read and fun puzzles to try after the story.”

The story of this book is about flying elephants. Once upon a time, elephants could fly, and they flew everywhere. They flew high into the sky… and down to the ground. They even looped the loop. Sometimes, the gods flew on their backs. However, they were nasty fellow. Elephants that could fly were very noisy and they yelled. Also, they crowed like roosters, so trees and houses shock below them. They were insensitive to any pain they might inflect, so they flew into trees and smashed them. What more, they landed on houses and fell right through. Soon all the trees were broken and there were no houses left. Then the gods said “We must stop them, and they thought of a trick. They invited the elephants to a grand feast. The elephants ate and ate. When their tummies were full, they slept. After that, the gods took away their wings. Of course, the elephants were very cross. They shouted and they stomed. However, they didn’t get their wings back and they never flew again. Their action ruined theirs future. I think almost people thinks they want to fly someday. If I can fly someday, I think I want to be of any help to you by having the skill that can fly. The illustration of this book was cute very much. I want you to read this book.
