I am going to write about my favorites. One of my favorite things is to ride a bicycle. I go to the school by bicycle except rainy day. It takes half an hour to go to the school from my home. The distance is not short, but I go to the school by bicycle. My bicycle broke in July because of punk. I was very sad because I used it for a long time. However, I can’t ride the bicycle, so I bought new bicycle. Its color is white and black. The size is 26 inch, so it is a little small for me. Riding a bicycle is tired, but I feel comfortable to ride a bicycle. I want a mountain bicycle now, but it is very expensive. I have to save a lot of money. If I can buy it, I think my bicycle life is more fun!

Second 5 Favorites II

I am going to write about my favorites. I like to read books. Reading books at home is my hobby. Of course, I read a lot of books in summer vacation. My favorite author is a lot. For example, there are Banana Yoshimoto, Kuniko Mukouda, Megumi Hatakenaka and so on. I read “Eiennozero” now. It is best seller books. The story is about war. This book makes me think about war. I am in the middle of reading the book now. I want to finish reading this book. The reason that I like to read the books is that my imagination stretch. I think I want to be a pregnant mind. Also, I want to build up my vocabulary, so I read the books. Of course, I like to go to the book store very much. I always stay long there. I want to go to the book store tomorrow.

Second 5 Favorites I

I am going to write about my favorites. My favorites are a lot. Listening music is one of my favorites. When I am at my room, I often listen to music. I have a Walkman. When I was a high school student, I bought it. Its color is pink. It was expensive for me, but I think it was good shopping. My favorite singer is Amuro Namie. Do you know her? I knew her when I was a junior high school student. I like her very much since I have known her. I like to listen to her music. I think Music is only her song for me. I am going to go to her concert this winter. I am looking forward to come the day. However, the day that is going to be hold is in December. I have to take care of having a cold.

BR 2-02: The story of The Gingerbread Man

“A little old woman makes a gingerbread man, but when she opens the oven door, he runs away. Soon, everyone in the village is chasing after him. Will anione ever catch him?”

Once upon a time, a little old woman and a little old man lived on a farm. Most of the time, they were happy. However, one thing made them sad. They had no children, so the little old woman decided to make a boy out of gingerbread! Soon she could smell hot gingerbread. She opened the oven door and looked in, and a gingerbread man jumped out and ran away. The little old woman and little old man shouted “Stop! Stop! Stop! ” However, the gingerbread man ran out of the house, and he singing. The gingerbread man ran past a farmer in a field. He thought “I want to eat you”, but the gingerbread man ran on down the road, and he singing. The gingerbread man ran past a school full of children. They thought “we want to eat you”, but the gingerbread man ran on down the road, and he singing. Then the gingerbread man came to river. He wanted to cross it, but he couldn’t swim. A fox saw him. “I will take you across,” said the fox. The gingerbread man jumped on his tail. First, the fox started swimming, but his tail was in the water. Therefore, the gingerbread man climbed up the fox. Next, Water started creeping up the fox’s back. Therefore, the gingerbread man climbed up the fox. Snap went the fox and the gingerbread man was a quarter gone! Snap went the fox and the gingerbread man was half gone!! Snap went the fox and the gingerbread man was three quarters gone… Snap and Gulp and that was the end of the gingerbread man.

The last of the story is very sad. I think this book is bad end story. However, the gingerbread man is very cute and it surely looked like delicious. I also want to make a boy out of gingerbread.

BR 2-01: The story of Clever Rabbit and the Lion

“Lion wants to eat up all of the jungle animals. “Don’t worry” says Clever Rabbit. “I have a plan…” this lively retelling of an old folktale has easy-to-read text and fun puzzles to try after the story.”

Once upon a time, in a great big jungle lived a great big lion. The lion always says “I’m king of the jungle,” roared lion. Also, the lion says “I’m going to eat you all up.” “No!” cried the jungle animals. “Don’t worry” said Clever Rabbit. “I have a plan.” The next day, all the animals hid from the lion. Clever Rabbit appeared in front of lion and she said “I tried to come before, but a great big lion stopped me.” The statement that Clever Rabbit spoke was very strange for lion. “Show me this other lion. I will eat him up and then I will eat you”, said lion. Clever Rabbit led lion to the deep, wide river. “He lives in there”, said Clever Rabbit. Lion looked in to the water. Another lion looked back. Lion shook his head. So did the other lion. Lion leaped at the lion in the water… …and was swept away. “At last”, cried Clever Rabbit. “We are safe” The jungle animals came rushing out. Lion said “Help!” and “Save me.” However, Clever Rabbit said “we can’t do it because we are small and weak” lion let out one last roar! Also, he was never seen again.

The story of Clever Rabbit and the Lion was clear and lucid, so it is very interesting for me to read this book. The water reflects lion, but lion did not know about reflections. I thought Clever Rabbit is very clever! I want to be clever like Clever Rabbit. Also, the illustration of Clever Rabbit and the Lion was very cute. The jungle animals was very cute, especially.

Essay 2-01a: My way to learn various language

I am going to write about my language leaning stories. There are a lot of languages all the countries of the world. Of course, my basic language is Japanese. I think Japanese is difficult languages to understand it because it is hard for almost people to transcribe the pronunciation of Japanese word. Especially, writing in Chinese characters is very difficult. Also, Japanese grammar is complicated. It is not easy to learn language. I am not good at learning language, but I am going to show my learning languages.

First, I always repeat that I write words to memorize words. I think writing words is the most important way to memorize words. Language skill surely makes progress. It is very hard work for a lot of people to repeat to write words. However, its effort is going to bore fruit.

Second, I hear and listen to pronunciation of words when I learn languages. If I memorize a pronunciation full of mistakes, I am going to be shameful. I think that being put to rights the mistakes is not easy things. Learning the correct pronunciation is to improve the language skill, so hearing and listening to pronunciation is one of good learning language ways.

Third, reading words is one of learning language. For example, I read various English text books in school. I think reading an English language newspaper is also good. However, degree of difficulty is high for me to read an English language newspaper. If I can read it easily, it must be useful in daily life.

Fourth, I speak languages that I learned to memorize it. Speaking languages is as good as writing languages because it is an efficient way. Speaking language is easy to memorize. I can also memorize languages when I speak languages. If I keep on speaking language continuously, I won’t carelessly forget the word that I memorize words.

Also, I use English Central to improve my English skill now. Do you know English central? It is good way and teaching materials to learn English. I think teaching materials that our teachers gives our students is the beat learning language materials. If our students use them well, we are going to be good at learning language. Of course, doing homework is good way to learn language, too.

I think my basic learning language way is four. As stated above, there are writing, reading, listening and speaking. I must use these way when I learn other languages. If people have mastered the fundamentals of language, they are going to be easy to learn language. The most difficult language that I have ever learned is French. Writing, reading, listening and speaking were all hard for me to go that. I am not good at studying French, but I like studying French.

I would like to write about something special I did during summer vacation. I thought summer vacation is very long vacation before summer vacation starts.  However, summer vacation is going by fast and it is going to pass by fast. One of special thing that I did during summer vacation is that going to see movie. I saw “Kazetatinu” and “Monsters university” Both “Kazetatinu” and “Monsters university” were very good movie. Also, I went on a day trip to Tamana with my family and my grandmother. We got in a hot spring and we ate at a buffe that evening. We all got full. They were very nice memories in this summer.  I wish I will go there next year. I like to go to the trip very much.

I am going to write about good and bad points about summer. I think summer is the best season in four seasons because we can do various things in summer. For example, we can go to the sea and we can swim there. Also, we can go to the summer festival. We can enjoy watching fireworks. Summer is very hot and almost people sweat a lot, so some people said I don’t like summer. However, I like sweat. I feel refreshing after I sweat a lot. These are good point of summer. I think bad point of summer is that appearing a mosquito which bit me! When I want to sleep, the mosquito often come me. I don’t like it.
